This policy describes the types of information we may collect from you or that you may provide when you install our Slack app and our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing that information.

Data Collection and Use

The only data we collect from you are your user ID and user token when you install and interact with our Slack app. We use these data solely to enable functionality within the Slack environment and to provide the services associated with the app.

The user ID and user token allow us to correctly identify your account for the app’s functionality, and are necessary to ensure the proper performance of our services within Slack. We do not use these data for any other purposes nor do we share these data with any third parties for their own use.

We only have access to/collect information that you voluntarily give us via email or other direct contacts from you. We will not sell or rent this information to anyone. We will use your information to respond to you regarding the reason you contacted us. We will not share your information with any third party outside of our organization, other than as necessary to fulfill your request.

Data Retention

We retain your user ID and token only for as long as it is necessary to provide you with our services. This typically aligns with the duration of your use of our Slack app. After you uninstall our app or cease to use our services, we remove your user ID and token from our systems within a period of 90 days.

Please note that we may be obliged to keep this data for a longer period, in accordance with certain legal, regulatory and technical requirements. If this is the case, your data will continue to be treated in accordance with this privacy policy.

Accessing and Deleting Your Data

Users of our service have the right to access their data. If you would like to see what data we have collected from you, please send us a request at [email protected] We will provide you with any data we have collected from you within a reasonable timeframe.

Similarly, you also have the right to request the deletion of your data. If you would like us to delete all data we have collected from you, please send a request to [email protected] Upon receiving the request, we will delete your data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe and confirm the deletion to you.

Please note that your data might be retained for a period due to certain legal, regulatory, and technical requirements even after your deletion request. After this period, your data will be completely deleted.
